Business Development & Project Management Officer


Zahra Mir’s work experience in international development spans over 8 years. At VJW International, she supports business development efforts through rapid response to our new Framework Contract opportunities. Zahra is also involved in the management of our ongoing projects, putting to good use her broad practical knowledge of foreign policy & development practices.
Zahra has worked with various organisations including the United Nations and the World Bank, across many countries, including the emerging markets of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Fiji and Timor-Leste. Some of her areas of work are inclusive development, business development, transaction advisory services, results measurement, gender, Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P), Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) audit preparation, creation of business enabling environments through technical assistance and investment mobilization. Zahra is a holder of the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew scholarship and has a master’s degree specialising in economic policy from the National University of Singapore. She is a United Nations UNLEASH talent and a recipient of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change award.
