Nadeen Hassan

Nadeen graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in 2016 with a degree in Economics. Since then she has worked for an economic development consultancy in Cairo where she gained experience in accelerating the growth of SMEs as a means of income and job creation for the Egyptian economy. Nadeen has also worked in consultancy for larger companies in the City of London, where she mastered her project management and data analysis skill set. In addition, her expertise lies within strategic problem solving at a pace. Before joining VJW International, Nadeen was working on a project in rural Cambodia funded by DFID focusing on providing training for farmers on Climate Change Adjusted Agricultural (CCAA) techniques and the development of inclusive value chains. This afforded her a significant gain of skills within project monitoring and evaluation methods and techniques. Nadeen has also developed research and policy development capabilities in her areas of interest including female economic empowerment, women’s right to education, sustainable poverty alleviation and the Sustainable Development Goals.
